Expect Anthony Randolph to be more of a 4/3 in the NBA than he is an undersized 4/5 … ala Garnett and/or Bosh.

Young Mr. Randolph has the chance to be a very special player in the League, as long as he doesn’t fall into Don Nelson’s (imfamous) dog-house (which could stunt his growth interminably).

Oh geez…. I was hoping those two words would not be mentioned. You should know that both writers at Second Jumpability play on a company-league basketball team affectionately known as Kevin McHale’s All Stars…. because in K Mac’s world, 6 foot tall white guys with limited range, handles, and athletic ability are purebred all star material.

I agree; signing Maggette was a huge waste of money by the Warriors.

Baron Davis vs Monta Ellis … as a starting PG, in the NBA … is a no-brainer, in the Beard’s favour.

There are only 2 silver linings for the Warriors right now:

i) Don Nelson is a terrific ’slight-of-hand-magician/NBA head coach’ … who does wonders with mismatched players in an under-appreciated system; and,

ii) Anthony Randolph has the ability to be a 1st Team NBA All-Star down-the-road.

The Warriors are years (and years) away from being legitimate conteders for an NBA championship.
